The International Day of an African child is celebrated Globally every 16 June, since 1991 as initiated by the African union in honour of the children who participated in the Soweto uprising in 1976.
It raises awareness of the continuing need for improvement of the education provided to African children.
Education starts from homes, attending to children’s Emotional needs will give rise to a better society. That’s what #Awakenin is all about. Program would feature talks on Emotional Validation, Scenarios of Emotional Neglect, Mindset Transformation, etc. Children Understands better in an atmosphere of Love and Understanding….
