HAPPY UNITED NATIONS DAY 🎇🎊
To commemorate @unitednations Day Thursday, October 24 tagged #PlantHOPE, we went to Model Primary School Okoro N’odo, we had interesting sessions with the #GoGreenWithAFRONELLY ambassadors (#YoungVerdants).
Starting with a description of LGAs in Rivers State, our initiator Wonne Afronelly was able to educate the pupils about the United Nations and it’s functions in the world.
Team Lead UwaGold Besty Solomon
enlightened the pupils on trees and classes of tress.
Team Lead Joy O. Ogbonna educated the pupils on the importance of trees to human live, economy and curbing environmental hazards as #BlackSoot.

1 tree seedling, 2 different tree seeds and some flowers including aloe vera ( for biological control of blacksoot) were planted.
Trees were named after team lead Besty and some pupils who participated actively during sessions especially with answering questions correctly –

The pupils were given take home tasks as part of assessment to help develop them as Ambassadors.

We also distributed the #LightOfHope edition of #RhapsodyOfRealities Teevo and Early Readers whilst Igbo, Ikwerre and English Versions were distributed to Teachers and some Parents
